形態特徵

Biennial; stems 15–40 cm long, densely white woolly tomentose.
Leaves thin; lower leaves smaller than median cauline leaves; cauline leaves spatulate, 2–6×4–12 cm, apex rounded, mucronulate, base angular, narrowed, sessile, decurrent, margins entire, white woolly on both surfaces.
Heads numerous, densely aggregated in terminal corymbs. Involucre globose-campanulate, 3×3.5 mm, bracts 3-seriate, pale yellow, outer ones shorter, broadly ovate, inner ones oblong, apex obtuse. Outer florets many, 1.75 mm long; central florets 5–10, corolla 2 mm long.
Achenes oblong, compressed, 0.5 mm long, papillose. Pappus white, ca. 2 mm long, bristles deciduous separately.

分布

台灣 : a weed of wastelands and cultivated fields, seasides to 2,000 m, common.
世界 : Eastern and southern Asia to Australia.
